Ecash notes

Ecash notes are one of the most tangible things in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Physical paper tokens with QR codes that carry real value. You can hand one to someone and they have Bitcoin. I redesigned the note templates and explored how to handle notes across different use cases, from gifting to merchant transactions to education. The design problem was informational: what does a creator need to see when making a note, and what does a recipient need to understand when they're holding one for the first time? This work was shared through the Bitcoin Design community.
